Funkwerk Americas Inc. (formerly RAYTEL Corporation) is an American partner and affiliated company of Funkwerk Dabendorf, which belongs to Funkwerk AG, a German public corporation and one of the leading manufacturers of mobile communications systems in Europe.
The controlling shareholder of Funkwerk AG is the Hoermann Group, a German holding company with more than 20 subsidiaries and over 4,500 employees, engaged in communications and industrial services.
Funkwerk Americas is responsible for all marketing, sales, and distribution activities for Funkwerk’s EGO product line throughout North, Central, and South America. Engineering and manufacturing for Funkwerk Americas is still based in Germany.
