Toronto, April 22 2009: with Bill 118, Ontario joins Quebec and Nova Scotia in the fight against distraction at the wheel.
These provinces in Canada work to ban drivers from using hand-held cellphones. Only hands-free in-car devices and Bluetooth headsets are allowed.
Fun fact, Quebec earned about $500,000 on fines to drivers in 2008: a powerful incentive to buy a Bluetooth hands free car kit, according to United Press International!
For Ontarian drivers who want to comply with the law, reduce driver distractions and stay reachable in the car, Parrot offers the largest range of Bluetooth hands free solutions on the market. There are a number of hands free solutions out there, but some are not as "hands-free" as others. Only true voice-activated devices keeps hands on the wheel and eyes on the road, thus avoiding all manipulation-related dangers. Sound quality is also crucial, because to hear and be heard is what it is all about.
Parrot hands free systems and car kits are sold right here at HFVT.
